![]() Sigma has out done itself by creating these brushes.Overall review of Sigmax brushes: Sigmax brush You’ll get flawless blended blush on your cheeks. Suggestion : Put some dots of cream blush on your cheeks with finger tips. It reaches easily under your eyes or around the areas of your nose. The bristles are velvety soft. ![]() The biggest benefit of this brush is that you can even reach the smaller areas of your face with this brush. However, I don’t like using powder products with this one, it kind of cakes up the powder products, The bristles are more tightly packed as compared to the sigma F 80. You can use it for powder, cream or liquid foundation. ![]() Sigma F 82 Round Top Kabuki: Sigma round top Kabuki F 82 brush The only not so good thing is that it takes long to dry up. I would not review it as a must have but it’s good to have. You can use it to apply cream, liquid or powder products. Want to apply mineral foundation : Use Sigma F 80.Want airbrushed look – Swirl Sigma F 80!.I’ll definitely pick one of those up at some point. I’ve heard that it’s Sigma equivalent is the E32 Exact Blend Brush or the E55 Eye Shading Brush. I don’t have a Sigma brush for packing on shadow because I have one from Mac that I use, or I just use my finger. I use this for applying shadow along my lash line or when I’m wanting to apply it in a very specific spot. I use this one for applying shadow all over my lid, getting more color in my crease, and blending out smokey eyes.Īnother good one is the E21 Smudge Brush. It’s a little bit bigger and fluffier than the E36 I mentioned above, and you could get away with just one of them for sure. ![]() I also really like the E25 Blending Brush. It came in a set and I didn’t specifically want it, but am OBSESSED. One of those brushes that basically does all the work for you, you know? I honestly didn’t expect to love this brush as much as I do, but it’s amazing. Makes smokey eyes the easiest thing, and blends everything out beautifully. The E36 Blending Brush is my absolute fave, cannot-live-without brush. It’s my go-to when I do though! It might not work if you do a very chiseled out kind of contour, but for a more blended out one it has been amazing. Actually really love this brush, I just don’t contour or bronze all that often. It picks up just the right amount of product and blends it so effortlessly.įor applying bronzer and contour I use the F23 Soft Angled Contour Brush. Especially the case if you are a low key makeup kinda gal.įor highlighting, I love the F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush. They’re each great, and I’m glad to have them all, but I think you can kinda see how each one isn’t needed, necessarily. Use: Blend liquid or cream products onto flat areas of the face such as the forehead and cheeks.Use: Blend cream blush or bronzer into the skin.Use: Apply foundation to flat planes of face and hard to reach areas of the face.Use: Conceal around the eyes and contours of the face.Coverage: Sheer to medium with powder, medium to full with cream or liquid.Use: Blend mineral powder into the skin. Here’s a little run-down of the description of each Kabuki from the Sigma website and what they’re recommended for, if you’re not sure which to choose: Could definitely work as a highlighter brush as well! The ones I grab for the most are the F82 Round Kabuki brush or F80 Flat Kabuki brush for foundation (some concealer too), and F86 Tapered Kabuki for spot concealer, and it’s amazing for blending concealer or brightener under the eyes. I purchased the a Kabuki brush set (discontinued) a while back and I do love them all, but I don’t really think it’s necessary you own each one. And of course the ones that give you a few from each category.Įach set is a such a good value, and when I first purchased from Sigma, I went with a few different sets. Some that are all one category of brushes, like all face or eye. They have a wide variety of sets to choose from. This is what I’ve done in the past, and then I’ve gotten some individual brushes as well. Gives you a little taste of everything for a great price. If you are in need of a bunch of new brushes, or you’re new to makeup and need a good place to start, then I’d recommend going for one of their brush sets. Sigma often has some pretty good sales, so I’d recommend holding out until there is a sale! I’ll letcha know on Instagram or Instagram Stories, so be sure to follow if you want reminders! I wanted to share which ones I have and which I would recommend. And yes, they are a cruelty free company! They’ve never shed on me, or lost their blending abilities. They are SUCH high quality, and have lasted me for a long time through many many makeup applications and (maybe a little too infrequent) washings. Plus, you really only have to buy them once. I know they are a bit pricier, but they are absolutely worth the investment. I am a biiiiig fan of Sigma brushes, and have been for a while.
